When beginning each of these pas de bourrée, begin in 5th position with the right leg front and the left hand on the barre.

To perform pas de bourrée en tournant, begin in 5th position with the right leg front, bend both legs and release the back foot (the left foot) to cou-de-pied derrière (back) en plié. While turning toward the barre rise up to sous-sus crossing the left foot (working leg) back into sous-sus, open the right leg forward to a small 1st position en demi-pointe, cross the left foot (leg) front to sous-sus. Then lower the left foot to sous-sus to release the right foot back to cou-de-pied derrière en plié to repeat the pas de bourrée en tournant on the second side.
To perform pas de bourrée (petit piqué) tournant, begin in 5th position with the right leg front, bend both legs and release the back foot (the left foot) to cou-de-pied derrière (back) en plié. Rise (or piqué) up onto the left leg and release the right foot to cou-de-pied devant (front), then lower the right foot (working leg foot) through sous-sus and (while turning to the left) immediately open the left thigh and pick the left foot up to cou-de-pied devant (front). Then lower the left foot to sous-sus to release the right foot back to cou-de-pied derrière en plié to repeat the pas de bourrée en tournant on the second side.
To perform pas de bourrée (full piqué) en tournant, begin in 5th position with the right leg front, bend both legs and release the back foot (the left foot) to cou-de-pied derrière (back) en plié. Rise (or piqué) up onto the left leg and release the right foot retiré devant (front), then lower the right foot (working leg foot) through sous-sus and (while turning to the left) immediately open the left thigh and pick the left foot up to retiré devant (front). Then lower the left foot to sous-sus to release the right foot back to cou-de-pied derrière en plié to repeat the pas de bourrée en tournant on the second side.

Then lower to sous-sus to release the right foot cou-de-pied devant en plié to repeat the pas de bourrée en tournant on the second side.
